A Light, A Trumpet, and A Fire

Proverbs 13:9
“The light of the righteous rejoiceth:…..”

We are A Light.  We are to let it shine!  Though it may seem to simply be a twinkling candle in a world filled with blackness, it is our business to let our "Light of God's Love" shine.  His Light dispels darkness, and it attracts people to it, and even the smallest of light can shine and guide someone through a lonely, dark and dreary pathway.

We are Blowing A Trumpet.  In the din and noise of battle the sound of our little trumpet of "God's Voice" may seem to be lost, but we must keep sounding the alarm to those who are in spiritual danger.  And though the battle still rages on….the sound of our trumpet for Jesus can signal a victory already won!

We are Kindling A Fire.  In this cold world full of hatred and selfishness our little blaze may seem to be unavailing, but we must keep our "Fire For God" burning, keep fanning the flames till the fire burns hot and bright for Jesus’ love.

A Light, A Trumpet, A Fire…they seem so little amidst the darkness and violence and coldness of the world.  But “……with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26, and He will bless our efforts to bring the good news of Jesus to a weary and strife-torn world.  We must not sit back and let God’s command for us to be His witness for Him in this world, go without effort.  Brighten the Darkness----Sound out God’s Love, and Keep the Embers Burning within you, and fan the flame for Jesus because to a dying and decaying world, we are:

“A Light, A Trumpet, and A Fire”.
