Philippians 4:7-8
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
There are no troubles or problems that distress the mind and wear upon the nerves more than that of borrowed troubles. Someone once said, “Worry is an old man with a bent head, carrying a load of feathers he thinks is lead”
Worry about what might happen makes even the smallest trouble seem huge. Nervously anticipating troubles that may never happen can crush our spirit.
Instead of “borrowing trouble” by constantly worrying about the future, listen instead to Jesus’ promise: “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27.
Whatever is worrying you right now, give it to Jesus and trust Him to take care of it, as He will. Let His peace replace your worry, and let His love be the:
"Peace For Your Heart”
God Bless!
