Praise the Lord for the heartaches,
Praise the Lord for the tears,
Praise the Lord for all the lessons
He taught us through the years.

Praise the Lord, he turns each problem
Into ways for us to grow....
Teaching us in faith - to trust Him,
Knowing He has planned it so.

Praise the Lord for His omniscience
Praise the Lord He knows - He cares;
Praise the Lord He doesn't answer,
All the selfish, foolish prayers.

Praise the Lord, His ways are better.
Praise the Lord for His triumphs won;
Praise the Lord He keeps on shaping us,
In the image, of His only Begotten Son.
